Prospects for expanding Azerbaijani-Turkish cooperation, the possibility of holding weddings, the problem of registering houses without a bill of sale, and the danger of living in an emergency house are the topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the prospects of new economic projects for Turkey and Azerbaijan. As an example, the author points to the discovery of a large gas field in the Turkish sector of the Black Sea. According to initial estimates, the field, named Sakarya, has 320 billion cubic meters of gas worth US $ 67 billion. This field turns Turkey into a supplier of natural fuel in the region. This factor opens up great prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The website Redaktor.az writes about the possibility of permission to hold weddings. The wedding business covers many areas, it is fashion, and food, and music, and taxes, and so on. In order not to completely destroy the wedding business and not cut off the cash flow in Azerbaijan, it is necessary to allow weddings in one form or another.
The website Metbuat.az discusses the problem of registering houses without a bill of sale. Because of this, getting a residence permit has become a very complicated process. There are families who have been living in Baku for more than 10 years, but they still cannot register.
This causes certain difficulties when it is time for a child to go to school. Experts note that there are a lot of undocumented houses in Baku and Absheron.
The website Oxu.az discusses the problem of internally displaced persons living in the Garachukhur settlement at 14B. In the unfinished building, the water reservoir in the courtyard is in disrepair, and there are problems with the sewerage system. The residents' appeals to the relevant authorities entirely remain unanswered. In the center of the courtyard, a reservoir with a capacity of 155 tons could collapse and cause tragedy, residents say.
The executive authorities say the building was not put into operation, and forced migrants settled it on their own.
