The newspaper Azerbaijan continues to write about the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, noting that the positive dynamics should not be encouraging. During the year, the coronavirus spread to 213 countries, over 81 million people were infected, and the death toll is approaching 2 million.
The website Redaktor.az writes that there are more people actually infected with the coronavirus than is reflected in the statistics. Hundreds of people, without passing the test, are being treated at home. Thus, they do not get into statistics, and no one knows the exact number of victims. The fact that the number of deaths does not drop below 40 per day means that the disease is not declining.
To interrupt the chain of infections, vaccination is needed, which forms immunity for approximately 42 days. Re-vaccination is also necessary, experts say.
The website Azpolitika.info quotes the opinion of the deputy Ali Masimli regarding the effectiveness of the management system in healthcare. According to him, the fight against the coronavirus pandemic is under serious criticism. It is impossible to obtain the medicines necessary for the treatment of COVID patients, and the admission of such patients to the hospital has become a big problem. Masimli believes that the fight against the pandemic is not built effectively. The number of deaths is growing rapidly, although in the first half of the year the losses did not exceed 200 people.
The Ministry of Health and TƏBIB have built a two-headed pyramid that interferes with work efficiency.
The website Bizimyolinfo.az discusses the fighting in Karabakh on December 27, when our soldier and six Armenians were killed. It would be wrong to think that Russia cannot handle a handful of militants. It is believed that Russia intentionally aggravates the situation on the eve of the meeting between Aliyev and Pashinyan, thus, influencing Azerbaijan in order to include the points Russia needs in the peace agreement. The most dangerous thing for Azerbaijan is the creation of a Russian military base on its territory in the future and the issue of status on the agenda.
The website Müsavat.com writes that official Baku may decide to conduct an anti-terrorist operation in Khankendi. Anti-terrorist operations in Karabakh can be carried out jointly with Russian peacekeepers. However, terror is not a way out of the situation, and Armenia must improve relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey or leave the territory of the South Caucasus. Official Baku is interested in the stable economic development of the liberated territories and in the fight against terrorists on its territory.
