The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the situation with the coronavirus in the country. The number of infected people around the world is rapidly approaching 70 million people, and more than a million people have died. The number of infected people in Azerbaijan exceeds 4,000 every day. This tendency gives grounds to assert that the situation is difficult, but many do not understand its seriousness and behave irresponsibly.
This concerns participation in commemoration and festivities on the occasion of the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation.
The website Metbuat.az writes about the need for Turkish peacekeepers to arrive in Azerbaijan, and this issue is not a subject of discussion. The stable support of Turkey in the issue of liberation is especially noted, regarding territories occupied by the Armenians and the withdrawal of Armenian forces from there.
There can be no peace and stability in the region without Turkey.
The website Modern.az writes that discussion of the state budget will begin in the Milli Majlis one of these days. Usually it is discussed in November, however, the Patriotic War, as well as the coronavirus, which many deputies suffer from, prevented a timely discussion.
In the state budget for next year, three issues will be priority: the social status of the families of martyrs, the disabled and the wounded, providing them with housing, as well as a monthly allowance.
The second issue is the demining of the territories liberated from the occupation, restoration work and the creation of a normal infrastructure for the return of the population.
The third is the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

For Elshan Hasanov, a 46-year-old man with severe hearing impairment (fourth-degree), what should have been a straightforward process to receive government-provided hearing aids has turned into a bureaucratic nightmare involving three healthcare agencies. As a result, Hasanov is forced to pay nearly 60 manats ($35) several times a year for what used to be a free service—a cost he says is untenable on his modest disability pension.
