The return of the territories transferred to Armenia in the past, the goals of the Azerbaijani army, the state of Azerbaijani-Russian relations, and the situation with the coronavirus in Azerbaijan are the topics of today's media.

The website Yenisabah.az writes about the situation in the village of Shurnukh, on the border of Gubadli and Zangezur. The Armenians living in this village are required to leave their homes within five days.

After the occupation, the Armenians arbitrarily expanded the village, building 20 houses there. Now they have to leave their homes, since this is the territory of Azerbaijan.

The website Redaktor.az writes about the forthcoming goals and tasks of the Azerbaijani army, which means creating a more perfect army equipped with modern weapons. With certain agreements with the Turkish military industry, more advanced UAVs will be produced. This is one of the priority tasks.

The website Moderator.az gives an assessment of the ex-Foreign Minister Tofig Zulfugarov about the Azerbaijani-Russian relations. In his opinion, the Russian-Turkish tandem became an external factor that determined the victory in the Second Karabakh war.

If Russia is removed from this tandem, then it will collapse and become the reason for the creation of a new geopolitical configuration.

Zulfugarov believes that Azerbaijan should be pragmatic and demand, within the framework of this tandem, to ensure its interests.

The Azpolitika.info.az website discusses the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection. At the end of December, the number of infected people dropped sharply, but the daily number of deaths was 30-35 people.

 The number of active patients is 22,689. However, there is no information on how many people are being treated at home. The article notes that the statistics do not reflect the real situation. The author admits that the regulatory authorities manipulate the numbers for some reason.
