The fight against the coronavirus pandemic remains a leading media topic. Penalties for quarantine violations, conditions for the disappearance of the virus, and the danger of asymptomatic infection are the topics of today's media.
The website Yap.org.az talks about the proposals of MP Parvin Karimzadeh on the fight against coronavirus. He suggests fines for not wearing masks in closed spaces. In his opinion, public censure of violators is also necessary.
The website Yenisabah.az discusses with the doctor Vasif Ismail the situation with coronavirus. He believes that such a widespread infection is associated with non-compliance with quarantine. As for home treatment, this is perfectly acceptable. However, such patients should be extremely careful when complying with the doctor’s instructions.
The doctor also noted that after infection of 60% of the country's population, the virus will disappear, although it may live among us. However, in this case, it will no longer be able to harm people.
The website Sfera.az gives the opinion of the country's main infectious disease specialist Jalal Isaev about the asymptomatic virus. Anyone with asymptomatic COVID is very dangerous to others. These people must be isolated. This is possible both in the hospital and at home. The latter is preferable since there are fewer places in hospitals. Isolated people can leave the house with the permission of a doctor, and a negative test must be confirmed twice.
According to the doctor, in 70% of the population, the disease is asymptomatic.
The website Azadlıq-info discusses with an expert the question of reducing the natural growth of the population. In January-April 2020, the birth rate, compared with the same period last year, decreased by 22% - that is, from 44.7 thousand people to 34.8 thousand people. Against this background, the mortality rate increased by 1.9% (387 people).
If mortality can be associated with the pandemic, then the birth rate cannot. Over the same period, the number of marriages decreased by 25%. –0 -----
