Expectations from the Summer Youth Olympic Festival, an expert look at the results of examinations for II-III groups of specialties, and the reasons for the high cost of life expected by the end of the year are the topics of today's media.
The Azerbaijan newspaper writes about expectations from the Yaylag festival, which is held for the first time in the Gadabay region (Duzyurd-Miskinli) from July 26 to July 28. It is attended by representatives of 16 countries. The purpose of the festival is to demonstrate the rich centuries-old cultural heritage of the people, formed over the centuries of nomadic culture (Yaylag and Elat), as well as historical monuments and tourist potential. This includes ancient national sports games, folk (Ashig) songs, and local cooking. Ecotourism is also included - tourists will live in houses made in the old way.
The website Modern.az writes about entrance exams for II-III groups of specialties. Experts note that this year in comparison with the previous ones, they received high scores several times less. In group II, only one applicant scored 690-700 points, whereas in 2018 this figure was 16 people. As for the third group, there were only two who scored 690-700 points, whereas last year there were 39 people. For both groups, the number of those who scored above 400 points has sharply decreased, which gives grounds to assert that the passing score will decrease.
The website Marja.az predicts a rise in prices by the end of the year, based on the statement made by the CBA to increase inflation to 6%. The author notes that the main factor influencing inflation is the rise in food prices. According to the results of the monitoring of the real sector, in June price expectations compared with the previous month decreased in the trade and construction sectors, while increased in the field of non-oil refining and services. -0-
