Media Review September 10, 2019
The expansion of export operations in Azerbaijan, the construction of university campuses, the social rules of residents of buildings, and the increase in the cost of hay are the topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the increase in export operations of the country. As a result of the activities of the Azexport portal, the geography of exports and the variety of exported goods have expanded.
Over the past 7 months, the country's exports amounted to 12.3 billion dollars, which is more than the same period last year.
The export of non-oil sector goods for the indicated period amounted to 1 billion 133 million dollars, which is 17% more than the corresponding period of 2018.
Azerkosmos for 7 months made a profit of $ 25.5 million from 22 countries.
The website Axar.az discusses the creation of university campuses. Most universities are located in the city, which creates cramped conditions in the already overpopulated city. If universities are moved outside the city, the most convenient option is the creation of university campuses.
However, most universities are not interested in this, although they have material opportunities, since 70 out of 100 students that enter universities study on a fee basis.
The website Oxu.az writes about the problems of residents of new buildings. We are talking about the problems of the residents of the new building at 30 Mirali Gashgay St., which is in the Nasimi district of the capital. Nobody considers complaints of the residents. They still have not been issued a warrant, the house is not gasified, and the area of the apartments is less than planned.
The house was built by Aslan HSC, which does not pay attention to the complaints of the residents and is not going to solve their problems. The residents appealed to the court, which ruled that the construction of the building was unlawful and the utility fees from the tenants, who, after the trial, faced threats from Aslan, were illegal.
The website Marja.az writes about the rise in price of hay - the main livestock feed in the western zone of the country. Experts attribute this to weather conditions that were unfavorable this year. The author quotes various types of feed. -0--
