Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Sports eliminate social organization?
A meeting of the Presidium of the Federation of Extreme Sports Fairex with representatives from the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and clubs belonging to this federation, was held today in the Olympic Committee.
Deputy Minister of Youth, Ismail Ismailov, told about the sports achievements of the country in 2012, the importance and role of Fairex in its development.
Then the Deputy Minister of Environment, Firdovsi Aliyev, said that competition for the World Cup on Climbing will be held in Azerbaijan, what is included in the action plan of the Extreme Sports Federation. He said that the purpose of the Federation is to attract young people to the competition.
"But it's a pity that the Mountaineering Federation casts a shadow on the work Fairex and boycott our activities, and conducts black PR campaign against us," he said.
Then a member of the Presidium of Fairex, Valeri Bagirov, expressed disappointment that the sport was "divided" between the two federations. "We must put an end to mutual abuse," he suggested.
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Ismail Ismailov, suggested combining the two federations under the unified leadership and take on special decision on this. "The Ministry of Youth and Sports supports this idea," he said.
Then the meeting participants elected a board of 12 people.
