Expanded "area" of the use of electronic signatures
"Area" of the use of electronic signatures in e-government solutions will be expanded.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan has started to expand the capabilities of the new features, including the e-government portal.
As reported in the ministry, are working to establish a system of authentication and mobile electronic signature system. For this purpose, the Information Centre of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology presented fast, modern and secure authentication system for access to the portal of "electronic government" using mobile devices (mobile phones and tablet computers).
The new system makes it possible for users by using two-factor authentication system using a special application on the mobile device, to be able to create digital certificates, and then by scanning the QR code to access the portal of e-government (of any of the information can be integrated portal).
Implementation of the system is an important part of the strategy of the Ministry and the main goal - to create conditions for a transparent, efficient and safe use of the e-government portal. The proposed method is one of the innovative mobile means of authentication in the world. In the future, application functionality will be supplemented by modules providing the assurance of legally significant documents by electronic signature, and her address to the relevant departments.
