Mobile communications restored on 52% of liberated territories
Baku/24.12.21/Turan: Mobile Internet network has been restored in 52% of liberated territories of Azerbaijan. This was stated today by the Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev at the scientific-practical conference "Karabakh: a new window opening from the South Caucasus to the world", held at the headquarters of the "Yeni Azerbaijan" Party.
According to him, from 1998 to 2016, the mobile network covered 95% of the country (excluding the occupied territories).
"However, in a short period of time 52% of the areas were covered by the mobile network in the liberated territories. We will continue to work on providing both fixed and mobile network coverage," the Minister said. -03b06--
