More than 3 thousand infected and 29 deaths per day
Baku/22.08.21/Turan: Over the past day, 3,069 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 1,180 patients have recovered, 29 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 22.
In total, 391,506 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country since the beginning of the pandemic, including 345,783 infected people recovered, 5,308 died, treatment of 40,415 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 14,976 tests for coronavirus have been carried out.
Also, over the past day, 60,191 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of those vaccinated with the first dose was 45 649, with the second - 14 542.
The total number of vaccinated in Azerbaijan was 6 170 376, including 3 713 143 people vaccinated with the first dose, 2 457 233 people were vaccinated with two doses. — 06D-
