More than half of COVİD-19 infected in Azerbaijan are in Baku
Baku/29.06.20/Turan: More than half of the COVİD-19 infected in Azerbaijan is in Baku.
This is evidenced by the latest statistics published on the official website coronovirusinfo.az.
In particular, the proportion of the capital among infected people in the country is 53.4%.
Statistics by region are distributed as follows: Absheron - 15.8%, Ganja-Gazakh –9.4%, Central Low Region - from 7.8%, Lankaran - 6.1%, Guba-Khachmaz - 1.7% , Sheki-Zagatala - 1.4%, Upper Karabakh - 1.2%, Nagorno-Shirvan - 1.4%, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic - 0.03%.
Among those who arrived from abroad, the number of infected was 1.6%.
As for the districts of Baku, the leaders are Binagadi (12.9%) and Yasamal regions (12.6%). Khatai (11.9%) and Sabunchinsky (11.8%) districts are not far behind them.
Less than five percent of those infected in Sabail (4.5%), Khazar (4.1%) and Pirallahkhinsky districts (0.3%).
A total of 16,424 people were infected with coronavirus in Azerbaijan, of which 9,026 people were cured, 198 died. Active coronavirus patients - 7,200 people. 468 967 tests have been made. --- 06D—
