Municipalities Not to Be Able to Sell Land in Common Use
Baku / 15.12.17 / Turan: The Parliamentary Committee for Agrarian Policy today approved the draft amendments to the law "On the management of municipal lands" and recommended it to the plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
Changes are proposed in Article 7.2. They provide for the inadmissibility of transferring lands in common use to private ownership.
These are considered to be lands under streets, squares, municipal and intraeconomic roads, forest parks, beaches, ponds, stadiums, cemeteries, sports fields, etc.
Also, pastures, lands of agricultural purpose, forest resources, etc., which are in use by the population, cannot be transferred to private ownership. ----06B-
