Musavat continues hunger strike in support of political prisoners
Baku / 17.01.19 / Turan: A hunger strike continues in the headquarters of the Musavat party, demanding "Freedom for Mehman Huseynov and other political prisoners"!".
The participant of the hunger striker Khadija Ismayilova, said that in addition to her, the gender activist Aygul Jafarova, Zafar Akhmedov (father of political prisoner, PFPA activist Fuad Ahmedli), Rafig Bakhyshov (father of political prisoner, PFPA activist Orhan Bakhyshly) and Rovshan Neftaldis also continue the hunger strike.
For now there are not any complaints of the health of the activists.
The hunger strike action started at the headquarters of Musavat on January 7 in solidarity with blogger Mehman Huseynov. On December 26, he began a hunger strike to protest the criminal charges against him for beating a prison officer. -06D-
