Mystery of suicides of students of school N113
On August 9 a student of school N113 in the village of Kurdakhani in the Sabunchu settlement, a 15-year-old Teymur Hasanli hanged himself. Prosecutor office of Sabunchu district started investigation. It is noteworthy that this is the fifth case of suicide in this school over the past three years. Moreover, all students committed suicide the same way - hanging.
The Sabunchu Prosecutor`s Office opened filed a lawsuit under the Article 125 of the Criminal Code (incitement to suicide.) Then, the case was transferred to the Baku City Prosecutor`s Office, and merged into one.
Many locals associate the causes of suicides with unrequited love. There are those who believe that suicide is committed on religious grounds.
The parent of one of the teenagers that have committed suicide told Turan that a girl who was questioned in the case showed that the young man told her that he will commit a suicide, if she says "no." Law enforcement agencies do not give comments, and the reason for the series of suicides at the school N113 remains a mystery.—03D06-
