Baku/12.06./Turan: In an operation conducted by officers of Nasimi district police department of Baku on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking previously repeatedly convicted Elnur Alakbarov was detained.
According to a report of the Interior Ministry, during a personal search 3 kg of drugs - heroin and opium were seized from Alekperov.
During the investigation it was found that the detainee established contacts with a citizen of Iran, nicknamed "Behzat", who transported drugs to Azerbaijan by various illegal ways to Alakbarov to sell.
A criminal case was opened on the fact. Alekperov has been placed in custody by court order. -0-
