According to him, on August 15 Jafarli will meet with his lawyer. Jafarov said that the foreign diplomatic missions have been informed about the arrest of the Executive Secretary of REAL. On August 15 members of REAL movement will meet with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom. According to Jafarov, during a search in his house the law enforcement officers seized technical accessories belonging to Jafarli’s children, laptops, jewelry, documents for apartments, despite the fact that the flat is not owned by the Jafarov.
Jafarov is charged under Articles 192.1 (illegal entrepreneurship) and 308.2 (abuse of power, resulting in serious consequences) of the Criminal Code. REAL Movement believes that Jafarli is persecuted for political reasons. -0--
