The level of relations between Baku and Moscow allows to solve a lot of issues related to regional security, said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku in negotiations with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
"Your visit comes shortly after Russian President's visit to our country. We have a wide range of bilateral relations, which cover almost all aspects of our lives. It was noted that a high level of relations between our countries can solve a lot of issues in the bilateral agenda, as well as issues related to regional security," said Aliyev.
According to him, during the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin "were discussed issues related to cooperation in military and military-technical sphere." "For many years we have been actively cooperating and building up the potential for cooperation," said the president.
He noted that Azerbaijan has taken part in Army international games, and the results for the first games are not bad. "Our participation in this important international event in the first place reflects the level of cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan. I would also like to congratulate the Russian team with the victory in the competition," said the Azerbaijani leader.
