New anti-record of daily increase in deaths infected with COVID-19 in Azerbaijan
Baku/29.06.20/Turan: 544 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on June 29.
343 people recovered and were discharged from hospitals; eight patients with COVİD-19 died.
The total number of infected in Azerbaijan has reached 16,968.
Of these, 9369 recovered, 206 died, 7393 active patients continue to be treated in medical facilities of a special regime.
A total of 475 525 tests for coronavirus were made, including 6558 over the past day.
For the past six days in Azerbaijan, the daily increase in cases of COVID-19 infection exceeds 500.
In addition, the current death rate for individuals with COVID-19 is the highest per day since the start of the pandemic.
