Baku / 24.09.20 / Turan: As of today, 19 facts of infection with coronavirus in secondary school students and three employees of secondary schools have been identified in Azerbaijan. This is stated in the summary of the Ministry of Education on September 25 about the situation with COVID-19.
Today it was decided to transfer 3-grade students to distance learning. The total number of distance learning classes has reached 9.
Earlier, the school of the village of Gam-Gam, Guba region, was transferred to distance learning.
In turn, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers announced on Thursday an increase in the number of infected. So, over the past day, 162 new cases of COVID-19 infection were detected, while 133 people recovered, and one died.
The total number of infected during the entire period of the pandemic reached 39,686 people, 37,255 recovered, and 581 died. Today there are 1,850 active patients in the country.

Russia appears persistent in its desire to open a new representation in Azerbaijan. Recently, Aleksey Klimov, head of the consular department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), stated in an interview with TASS that the issue of opening new foreign representations of the country in the territory of Azerbaijan, including Karabakh, is currently being discussed at the political level.
