No transition to distance learning is planned
Baku/22.10.21/Turan: At the moment, the educational process in Azerbaijani schools is performed in line with existing rules. No transition to distance learning is expected in the coming months, a joint report of the Ministries of Health and Education says.
At the same time, in case of increase in the number of infections some classes will be transferred to the distance form of education, and in case of mass spread of infection some schools will be transferred to the distance form of education as well.
Since the beginning of the school year to date, 19 (0.4 percent) out of 4,432 general education schools and 505 (0.6 percent) out of 89,674 classes have been transferred to distance learning. At the same time, traditional education has been restored in 72 classes.
A total of 3,477 (0.2 percent) out of 1,595,108 students and 2,494 (1 percent) out of 229,871 educators were infected with COVID-19. -03В-
