Baku/04.04.18/Turan: Today was held the meeting of the pardon commission under the Azerbaijani President, reported the committee member Alimamed Nuriyev. According to him, the commission continues to receive numerous appeals. They are considered and most of them are given positive feedback. Upon completion of the commission's work, the president will be provided with a list of persons for pardon.
Nuriyev believes that the presidential decree on pardon can be signed on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Democratic Republic, celebrated on May 28.
The meetings of the commission will be continued. The Commission began to meet frequently from February. Then the authorities proceeded with the message that the pardon will be on the spring holiday of Novruz.
In fact, families of convicts and representatives of international organizations conducting a dialogue with the authorities on pardon were deceived. -05B-
