Ogtay Gyulalyev Sent by Special Flight to Turkey for Treatment
Baku / 06.11.19 / Turan: Human rights activist Ogtay Gyulalyev was sent to Istanbul on a special flight to continue treatment. Turan was informed about it before departure by his wife Firuza Gyulalyeva.
According to her, O. Gyulalyev is hospitalized in Istanbul's Avrasiya clinic.
The Gyulalyev’s treatment expenses are borne by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on behalf of its chairman, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva.
The day before, Turkish doctors invited by the Foundation found it necessary for him to be hospitalized in Turkey, where the conditions are better for treating patients who have had cerebral hemorrhage.
Gyulalyev received a head injury on October 29 after he was hit by a car.
As a result of hitting his head on asphalt, he had a hemorrhage in the brain. On October 30, he underwent a neurosurgical operation. However, he is still in a coma. –05D06--
