On the state of human rights activist O. Gyulalyev
Baku / 25.03.20 / Turan: There are no significant changes in the state of health of human rights activist Ogtay Gyulalyev. He still opens his eyes, hears when they speak next to him, but the awakening of the brain has not yet occurred, reported by Firuza Gyulalyeva - the wife of an activist who is in the "American Hospital" of Istanbul.
According to her, in accordance with the prescription of doctors, every day the human rights activist, under the supervision of doctors, is raised upright for about half an hour. In a sitting position, he is longer.
“Doctors cannot predict when an awakening of consciousness will occur. The delay in the process is due to the delayed operation after the accident,” said Gyulalyeva.
A human rights activist received a severe head injury because of a car hitting him on October 29, 2019 in the center of Baku. A neurosurgical operation was done on him only the next day, after an extensive hemorrhage in the brain occurred.
On November 6, Gyulalyev was sent for treatment to Turkey at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. — 06D-
