Operational headquarters on the dangers of self-medication, treated military personnel and the timing of quarantine
Baku/08.12.20/Turan: Users of social networks, mainly through Whatsapp, spread false recommendations, allegedly allowing curing COVID-19. Yagut Garayeva, a representative of the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Subdivisions (TƏBIB), announced this at a briefing at the Operational Headquarters of the Cabinet of Ministers on December 8.
According to her, you can take vitamin supplements, anticoagulants, but some patients need to do this only on the recommendation of a doctor. You cannot take dexamethasone, antibiotics or antiviral drugs on your own, she said. According to Garayeva, the unauthorized intake of these drugs can lead to serious consequences.
In turn, the assistant to the head of state Hikmet Hajiyev said that those infected with the coronavirus often violate the regime by going outside. 266 criminal cases have been initiated against such persons and this crime provides for up to 3 years in prison, he said. Hajiyev noted that today more than 900 servicemen are being treated in hospitals, and the quarantine rules must be carefully observed in order to protect their health as well.
Another assistant to the head of state, Shahmar Movsumov, said that the current restriction measures would remain until the COVID-19 vaccine is created. Azerbaijan will purchase the safest vaccines, he said.-02D-
