Baku/08.06.23/Turan: Member of the Party of Democracy and Welfare Ziyafat Abbasova who was admitted to the Republican Psycho-neurological Dispensary on June 6 was transferred to the Sabunchu hospital at night of June 8. This was reported to Turan by Deputy Chairman of the PDW, Adalyat Yusibov.
According to him, Abbasova's condition drastically deteriorated during the night. "Ziyafet khanum suffers from a blood disease and needs daily treatment. Her forced confinement in a psychiatric hospital with police violence has caused her psychological distress and her condition has deteriorated sharply", said Yusibov.
He also added that Abbasova had not eaten anything for 24 hours.
"The drug therapy she received at the psychodispensary also played a negative role. In the evening, her condition became critical and they had to transfer her to the hospital at night", said Yusibov.
Interior Ministry press officer Nurlan Aliyev confirmed to Turan that Abbasova's treatment continued at another hospital.
"She was transferred to the Sabunchu district hospital after a specialized medical examination at the psycho-neurological dispensary. At present, the treatment continues there," Aliyev said.
Earlier, the head of the Party of Democracy and Welfare Gubad Ibadoglu stated that Abbasova is absolutely mentally healthy, and she was forcibly placed in a psychiatric hospital to punish her for harsh criticism of the authorities, for exposing corruption. -06В-
