Over 3 thousand new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/26.01.22/Turan: Over the past day, 3,192 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, 1,259 people have recovered, 18 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on January 26.
In total, 640,148 cases of COVID-19 infection were detected in the country, including 619,050 people who were cured, 8,650 died, and 12,448 were actively ill.
Over the past day, 12,544 tests have been carried out to identify new cases of infection.
Yesterday, 30,563 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 2,621, the second - 2,549, the booster dose - 25,393 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 11,876,073, of which 5,220,001 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,734,740 received two doses, and 1,921,368 received a booster dose.—06B-
