Parents of the missing held a rally in front of the State Security Service
Baku/09.04.21/Turan: Parents of a group of military men who went missing in the Second Karabakh War held a rally in front of the building of the State Security Service (SGB) on Friday. They demand that the head of the State Security Service, Ali Nagiyev, receive them.
“After the previous meeting, the bodies of two military men were found and handed over to the families. We hope that after this meeting there will be progress in the search work,” said one of the parents.
Parents think the searches are not well organized.
“Our children should be looked for not only in the zone where the hostilities were going on, but also in Armenia, they are in captivity. We protest, we are accepted in state structures, but there are no results, he said.
Before the protest action in front of the presidential administration, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev came out to the protesters and listened to them.
The parents of the majority of the missing believe that their children are in Armenian captivity.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, as of January 2021, 64 soldiers were reported missing. However, in recent months, the remains of several dead have been found. — 03D06-
