Pashazadeh offers Islamic Unity Movement to Decide
During his visit to Lebanon, the head of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh told Turan about the recent events around the Islamic Unity Movement.
In the view of Pashazadeh, the movement must first be defined and registered with the state, or as a public association, or as a religious structure.
According to Pashazadeh, if the movement considers itself a public organization, it should not speak in the name of religion.
If this religious structure, then it should not to go beyond that.
According to Pashazadeh, the current "time-sensitive" movement activity "under the guise of religious structure and recent developments is a blow to the religion itself."
Pashazadeh expressed serious concern about "some nuances in the speeches of the leaders of the movement in mosques across the country."
As suggested by Pashazadeh, any incident in the current situation can only "rejoice enemies."
Pashazadeh also condemned the opposition between supporters of the movement and police.
Recall that on November 4 the leader of the Movement, a Shiite theologian Taleh Bagirzadeh was called to Yasamal police in connection with the procession of the faithful to the Alley of Martyrs for the purpose of the commemoration of the national hero of Azerbaijan Mubariz Ibrahimov. November 5, the Deputy of Bagirzadeh Elchin Gasimov was detained.
This caused a protest of his supporters in front of the Sabunchu district police, which was dispersed. Gasimov and 8 of the believers were sentenced to various terms of administrative arrest from 10 to 30 days. -06D--
