PFPA Activists Brought to Justice
Baku / 16.01.19 / Turan: The activists of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) detained on the eve appeared before the court today.
Recall that the Baku Court of Grave Crimes detained 12 PFPA activists, who gathered there in connection with the trial of the so-called "illegal financing of PFPA". Later, 7 people were released.
Today, the Nasimi district court sentenced Nijat Abdullazadeh and Emil Salimov to 20 days of administrative arrest, and Nijat Nizamov, Shamistan Khaziyev and Emin Maniyev were fined 200 manat each, the Popular Front Party reported. All of them were found guilty under Article 535.1 of the Code of Administrative Violations (resistance to authorities).
Law enforcement agencies do not comment on the detention of these activists of the Popular Front Party. -06D--
