Ramiz Cəfərov
Baku/03.11.21/Turan: Ramiz Jafarov, a member of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), was arrested in administrative order on November 3. He was summoned to the 15th department of the Sabunchu district police department of Baku, PFPA reported.
Later, the activist was taken to court, which assigned him 25 days of administrative arrest. He was found guilty under the Artricle 535.1 (not subordinate to the police) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
The PFPA believes that Jafarov is being persecuted for political reasons and because of his vigorous activity on social networks.
The attempts to get comments from the Ministry of Internal Affairs were futile. — 06d-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
