Baku/03.10.13/Turan : On Thursday, the first group of Azerbaijani pilgrims left for the Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
Total today two additional flights went to Jeddah with 420 pilgrims.
The dispatch will continue until October 8, and over 3 thousand people will go on the Hajj.
There are two types of prices on the Hajj. Thus, the Hajj with more modest living conditions in hotels with two meals will cost 3,250 manat.
Pilgrimage with more comfortable accommodation with a wide assortment of food and additional services will cost 4,100 manat. -06D -

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
