A month ago, he was prescribed sedatives and vitamins. But the treatment had no results,” said G. Aslanova.
She noted that the day before he was examined by a neurologist. “The doctor said that Polad should either be placed in the first-aid post of the jail N 1, or sent to the Medical Institution of the Penitentiary Service. “However, the authorities refuse to transfer him either to the first-aid post or to the prison hospital and insists that he remain in the barracks,” G. Aslanova further noted.
As for the reasons for the emergence of nervous problems, the journalist's wife explained this by poor conditions of detention.
