Police arrested a man who blackmailed people that he would distribute their private photos
Baku/08.09.22/Turan: Employees of the Main Directorate to Combat Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a citizen Yashar Mammadov, who blackmailed users of social networks.
In particular, using special programs, he removed personal photographs from profiles on social networks, and through editing created immoral forms. He then posted them on fake Instagram accounts and extorted money from the victims to remove the edited photos. In this way, he possessed money of about 50 social network users. During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border.
