Police arrested a man who blackmailed people that he would distribute their private photos
Baku/08.09.22/Turan: Employees of the Main Directorate to Combat Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a citizen Yashar Mammadov, who blackmailed users of social networks.
In particular, using special programs, he removed personal photographs from profiles on social networks, and through editing created immoral forms. He then posted them on fake Instagram accounts and extorted money from the victims to remove the edited photos. In this way, he possessed money of about 50 social network users. France has accused Azerbaijan of interfering in the domestic affairs of New Caledonia, a French special administrative-territorial entity in the South Pacific.
