Police held a series of operations detaining 21 drug traffickers
Baku/12.11.21/Turan: Ministry of Internal Affairs' drug control department held a series of operations following which 21 drug traffickers were detained in different regions and towns of the country.
The detentions took place in Garadagh, Yasamal, Surakhani districts of Baku, and Absheron, Agdash, Lankaran, Astara and Gazakh regions of the country.
Criminal cases have been initiated against all the detainees to comply with appropriate articles, and the investigation is underway.
During the operation, about 68 kg of various drugs and 790 pills of psychotropic substances were seized. All detainees were arrested by court decisions.
