Police is concerned with the roundtable of REAL
The head of Sumgayit organization REAL Hafiz Babali was released from Sumgait police, after three-hour interrogation. According Babali, the reason the summon was the event of REAL scheduled for January 24 in Sumgait, titled "The behavior of the citizen in a crisis." Police is concerned that the ad on the facebook says that the event will pass in front of the bank. Police believe that they plan to hold an action in front of the bank. However Babali explained that there will be a roundtable in the office of REAL. However, the police strongly recommended not to hold an event in mind the possibility of the arrival of a large number of people, among them "may be people who could disturb public order."
The journalist was advised to ask city hall to provide other space for the event. However, Babali does not agree with the arguments of the police, as there have never been violation of public order during the events held by REAL, but to avoid provocations, the event is likely to be canceled, said Babaly.-06D-

An activist of the opposition Movement "Republican Alternative" (REAL) , a journalist Hafiz Babali was summoned to Sumgayit City Police Department, where he lives. Babali is the head of the Sumgayit branch of the Movement, and his work has often been the object of interest of the police. In particular, he was detained for distributing materials to the public on the activities of REAL. During the parliamentary elections in November last year Babali was a candidate and recorded numerous violations and falsifications.
Today’s summon for questioning was in form of ultimatum, a police spokesman was unable to explain why Babali was not sent an agenda, promising that the interview will take about 10 minutes. He could not explain the reason for the summon. Babali went to the police building at 13 o'clock, but at 15:30 he was still there.
