PPFA activist arrested for 30 days
Baku/29.05.23/Turan: Zaur Akhmedov, an activist of the Salyan district organization of the Party of People's Front of Azerbaijan (PPFA), was arrested administratively for 30 days.
According to the press service of the PPFA, Akhmedov was detained in the morning of May 26. Later it became known that he was arrested administratively for 30 days on an unknown and obviously fabricated charge. He is given no dates, no phone conversations, nor is allowed to pass food, the PPFA said.
The PPFA believes that Akhmedov's arrest is connected with his political activities.
DİN Mətbuat Xidmətinin Şirvan regional qrupunun baş inspektoru Nizam Həmidov isə Turana bildirib ki, Salyan rayon sakini Z.Əhmədov mayın 26-da rayon ərazisində ictimai qaydanı pozduğuna və polis əməkdaşlarının qanuni tələblərinə tabe olmadığına görə şöbə əməkdaşları tərəfindən saxlanılıb. "Onun barəsində qanunvericiliyə uyğun olaraq tədbirlər görülüb və toplanmış materiallar baxılması üçün rayon məhkəməsinə göndərilib. Məhkəmənin qərarı ilə Z.Əhmədov 30 sutka inzibati qaydada həbs olunub".
DİN rəsmisi qeyd edib ki, Z.Əhmədovun ailəsi ilə əlaqə qurmasına və ona sovqat verilməsinə məhdudiyyət qoyulması ilə bağlı iddialar əsassızdır.-0-
