The Azerbaijan writes about an effective system of social protection in the country, emphasizing the exceptional role of Heydar Aliyev in creating the strategy of this system in 1993.
The system of social protection, according to the World Bank, covers 90.1% of the poor. Since 2006, through the system of social protection, 1 million 319 thousand people receive a labor pension, 466,400 received different types of benefits, and 546,000 receive targeted social assistance.

So the cost of fishing for one person is 500 manats. Hunting for birds costs 2,300 manats, and hunting for mountain goats costs about 7,000 manats.
