Official and pro-government newspapers report on the visit to Azerbaijan of the head of the Council of Ministers of Italy, and publish the instructions of the CEC about the upcoming election.

The same newspapers continue to publish defamatory matter concerning the National Council and the single candidate of the National Council, Rustam Ibragimbekov.

The National Council adopted a decision to fight for the single candidate from the National Council Rustam Ibragimbekov until the end and to start mass action.

Journalist Eynullah Fatullayev accused Eldar Namazov of an attempt to overthrow the government, and the latter called the accusation absurd.
