Official and pro-government newspapers report on President Ilham Aliyev’s participation in the  opening ceremony of the shipyard, and publish the decree  of the president  about the allocation of  AZN 4 million for social development  of Gadabay region.

 

"Azadlig" continues to follow the theme of the presidential election. Chairman of the National Council, Rustam Ibrahimbayov,  believes that the authorities are responsible for the  incident during a televised debate on ITV. Former Minister of Health, Ali Insanov, who is currently a prisoner, also  supported  Jamil Hasanli. He  called on people to vote for a single candidate from the National Assembly.

An activist of the Popular Front Party of Gabala Branch,   Tehran Musayev was a arrested for 25 days; according to the newspaper, in this way, the government deprived him of electoral activity.

 

"Zerkalo"

Ilgar Mamedov rejected the offer of the authorities to support the candidacy of the  President Ilham Aliyev. The Prison Service claims that  there was not such an offer.

The paper also wrote about recent debates on ITV,  when a single candidate from the National Council, Jamil Hasanli, was insulted.

The majority of those surveyed citizens believe that the results of the elections will be falsified.
