The site “Yenisabah.az” discusses the situation around the border lake Garagel (Sevlich), on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Commenting on the situation, political scientist Gabil Huseynli noted that the process of delimitation and demarcation of borders could cause controversy. The borders were defined during the Soviet era, but practically not marked. During the war, they changed again and their exact definition is not such a simple question.

The authorities have not yet been able to solve this problem. Citizens' appeals to various authorities remain unanswered, although this topic has been repeatedly discussed at the highest level. District commissions were even set up to compile a list of such houses.
The most serious problem is houses built under high voltage lines, oil and gas mains and water pipelines.
