Prices for AI-92 gasoline and diesel fuel have been increased in Azerbaijan
According to the decision of the Tariff Council announced on June 30, the retail price of 1 liter of AI-92 gasoline was increased by 0.1 AZN - to 1.1 AZN ($0.647).
Diesel fuel prices increased by 0.2 AZN to 1 AZN ($0.6).
The price increase is justified by the increase in fuel costs due to the transition to EURO-5 standards.
In turn, the state oil company of Azerbaijan SOCAR announced a reduction in prices for premium gasoline AI-95.
This will become possible thanks to the start of domestic production of this brand of gasoline that meets the Euro-5 standard.
Depending on market conditions, it is expected that from July 15, 2024, the price of 1 liter of locally produced AI-95 gasoline will decrease by 0.4 AZN and amount to 1.60 AZN ($0.9412).
