Prosecutor General's Office warned another group of people against publishing on Internet
Baku/30.07.22/Turan: The Prosecutor General's Office issued a warning to another group of representatives of media structures and users of social networks.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, "during the monitoring, it was found that when publishing information, in some cases, the requirements of Article 14.1.11 of the "Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Mass Media", i.e., "an impartial and objective presentation of facts and events," are observed. not observed.
In order to prevent situations leading to a violation of stability, human and civil rights and freedoms, the defendants were invited to the Prosecutor General's Office, where measures were taken to influence them.
Thus, in accord with Article 22 of the Law "On the Prosecutor's Office", Sahavat Mammadov, Rovshan Mammadov, Zulfugar Aleskerov, Elgyun Rahimov, Fuzuli Kahramanli, Zeynal Bakhshiev and Ruslan Izzetli were warned about the inadmissibility of committing such negative actions in the future.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan appeals to the mass media and users of social networks and once again reminds that the dissemination of unverified information without any explanation in state bodies is unacceptable and entails responsibility provided for by the legislation.
