Baku/16.12.21/Turan: On December 17, partly cloudy is expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, mostly without precipitation, a moderate south-west wind will blow. Light fog and drizzling rain are expected in some places at night and in the morning. The air temperature will be 6-8 degrees at night, 10-13 degrees in the daytime, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology.

Lawyer Agil Layij has accused the chairman of the Baku Court of Appeals, Mubariz Akperov, of mismanagement and called on President Ilham Aliyev to intervene. Layij voiced his concerns in a Facebook post, stating that Akperov's leadership has reduced legal defense to a "formal level."

The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has approved amendments to the regulation on the allocation of funds collected from traffic fines, initially established in 1999.
