Baku/09.04.21/Turan: The sacred month of Ramadan will come at sunset on April 13. This is stated in the message of the Caucasian Muslims Office.
Ramadan is one of the main holidays of Islam. For 30 days, believers must fast in the daytime - refrain from food and drink.
By abandoning simple human needs, Muslims demonstrate the strength of their faith and during the period of fasting must curb their instincts and passions.
During the fasting, they have meals twice: iftar and suhur. Iftar is a meal after sunset. It is held with the family; it is also customary to invite friends and acquaintances. Suhur is a meal before the onset of morning prayer.
During Ramadan, they are obliged to do good deeds by distributing voluntary (sadaqa) and obligatory (zakat) alms. -05D-
