Relatives of entrepreneurs refused from the press conference under the pressure

Press conference of  the wife and brother of the  entrepreneur Nadir Mammadov, who was arrested in Nakhchivan, was postponed. The reason for  postponement  became  threat that the family received after the announcement of the press conference.

Elnura Mammadov told  on the telephone that  since yesterday  unknown people threatened  them calling every five minutes, asking not to hold a press conference and not talk too much.

Otherwise,  they ill be punished on their return to Nakhchivan.

 "I really wanted to hold a press conference and tell everything,  but I'm afraid,"  said Elnura Mammadov.

*  The  Nakhchivani entrepreneurs Nadir Mammadov and  Mammad Gurbanov were arrested on December 11  by the Sadarak Court of Nakhchivan for two  months,  for the period of investigation. The arrest and a lawsuit against the  employers under Articles 315.1 and 315.2 (resistance to authority) was due to the conflict between  them and customs officers on December 8  at the customs point of  Sadarak, that resulted in beatings entrepreneurs by customs officials.

The  conflict  was caused  because of the refusal of Mamed Gurbanov  to pay  a bribe for the  goods imported from Turkey. His goods were confiscated, and the entrepreneurs themselves  were beaten and detained. -04В-
