Religious leader Ataman Nur in the village of Nardaran is arrested
Ataman Nur, who calls himself Akhund of the "Juma" mosque of Nardaran, has been arrested for 30 days on charges of involvement in the events in Nardaran, Turan was told by the locals. "Juma" mosque is the only mosque of the village, which was registered in the Office of Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO).
However, according to Rahim Dadashov , the head of the press service of the Caucasian Muslims Office, the Akhund of the mosque is Musa Gasimov and Nur has no relation to the CMO.
According to local residents, though Nur was not an official Akhund of the mosque, but was famous for his speaking on religious events.-05D--
