Second helicopter is used to extinguish forest fire in Gabala
Baku/13.08.21/Turan: The second helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan was involved in extinguishing a forest fire in the high mountain range of the Gabala region.
The fire broke out on August 11 in a mountainous area near the village of Tikanli, Gabala region. The forces of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Civil Defense Troops, two helicopters of the squadron, as well as employees of the local unit of the Ministry of Ecology and residents of nearby villages are involved in the fight against the fire.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, although the complexity of the relief and the increasing wind make it difficult to extinguish the fire, measures to extinguish the fire continue.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations once again calls on the population to observe strictly fire safety rules, especially in hot weather.-06В-
