Baku / 24.05.17 / Turan: A customer of Bank Respublika made an act of self-immolation after the conflict with employees of the bank's branch in Azneft Square.
According to the eyewitnesses, a man of 50-55 years of age argued with the bank's employees for a long time, then went out into the street and poured on himself gasoline from a cellophane package that he had brought with him. Taking a lighter, he set fire to himself.
Running out onto the street, the bank"s guard began to extinguish the flames with the help of a fire extinguisher.
The ambulance arrived and took the victim. The police, in turn, interview the witnesses of what happened.
Our attempt to get a comment from the bank itself failed.
In turn, in the burn department of Hospital No. 5, Turan IA was informed that the name of the victim was Ramiz Manafov. He has severe burns of 3-4 degrees of the head, neck and respiratory tract. His state of health is grave.
According to unofficial data, the victim is a client of the bank and he had problems with repayment of a loan.
