Baku/19.04.21/Turan: On the occasion of Victory Day and Ramadan holiday this year, six consecutive days will be days off,  stated in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, promulgated on April 19 by the press service of the government.

The government swapped working days (May 11 and 12) with weekends (May 8 and 16).

Thus, from May 9 to May 15, there will be consecutive days off in Azerbaijan.

During the same period, public transport will not work in the country because of the quarantine measures against coronavirus.

May 9 is celebrated in Azerbaijan as the Day of Victory over Fascism. This day falls on Sunday, so the next working day (May 10) is considered a day off according to the Labor Code.

May 13-14 this year falls on holidays to mark the end of the month of Ramadan. — 06D-
